Hello,
I’m Abhi!

What do I do? Three things: Business. People. Ideas.

What I do

01 · Business Development

I connect
the dots

Between businesses, people, and opportunities.

01

Deal Sourcing

I help businesses looking for growth capital find the investors and intermediaries who actually fit.

02

Partnerships

I go looking for the collaborations where both sides genuinely win, across businesses, platforms, and communities.

03

Growth & Market Development

I look past the obvious problem to find the right positioning, the right distribution, and the next place worth growing into.

In my words

I love business, especially when there’s a problem to solve, a challenge to untangle, or an opportunity hiding somewhere in plain sight. I enjoy looking at things from a different angle, asking “what if?”, connecting unexpected dots, creating structures, optimising systems, and finding a way forward. That’s the fun of business for me.

02 · Events

I create
moments

Designed to bring people together.

Why I build it

Living in Dubai made me curious about something: in a city filled with people from every corner of the world, why can genuine human connection still feel so difficult to find? That curiosity about people, relationships, and the way strangers come together led me to start The Virelia. What began as a small experiment has gradually grown into a community where I bring people together through events, shared experiences, and meaningful connections. It is still evolving, but at its heart, The Virelia is about creating diverse experiences, fostering a sense of belonging, and bringing people together in ways that feel real.

Beyond The Virelia, I’d also love to explore creating and organising different kinds of experiences, from corporate events and conferences to weddings and private celebrations, bringing the same creativity and attention to detail into every event I work on.

03 · Writing

I write
about

Human behaviour. Philosophy. And the questions I keep circling back to.

Why I write

Writing has always been my passion. I write all the endless ideas, questions, and thoughts that keep forming in my head. Writing has become my way of letting them out, chasing those questions, searching for answers, and discovering a little more about myself along the way.

A little about me

I’m Abhijna Lekha R,
but Abhi works…

I’m from Hyderabad, India, and my journey began in healthcare. I completed my graduation in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and spent three years working in the healthcare industry. Along the way, I found myself becoming increasingly curious about what happens beyond the clinical side of healthcare: how businesses grow, why certain ideas succeed, how the right partnerships can create meaningful opportunities, and what drives people to build something of their own. That curiosity led me to pursue an MBA in Healthcare Management.

By the time I completed my MBA, I realised that my interests extended far beyond healthcare. I wanted to explore the broader world of business, particularly business development, strategy, and partnerships; areas where I could combine my understanding of people with my curiosity about businesses and opportunities.

Outside of my professional journey, I organise events and build my own community in Dubai, The Virelia Community. I’m also rediscovering a childhood love for writing. They may seem like two very different worlds, but both constantly teach me more about people, ideas, and ultimately, myself.

What am I trying to build?

A life where curiosity has room to lead

I want to work on interesting problems, build things that matter, bring the right people together, explore ideas worth questioning, and keep creating opportunities for businesses, for people, and for myself.

I’m still figuring out exactly where all of that leads. And I think that’s the interesting part.
